About Weightrhythmcoach

We exist to help you understand how weight changes affect your daily life, and to guide you through sustainable lifestyle shifts with evidence-based insights.

Our Story

Weightrhythmcoach was born from a simple observation: weight loss isn't just about the number on the scale. It's about energy levels, sleep quality, confidence, mobility, and how you feel moving through your day.

Our founder, James Mitchell, spent over a decade working with people who struggled not with understanding what to do, but with understanding why their bodies and daily habits seemed disconnected. He realised that most resources focused on quick fixes rather than the deeper, rhythmic changes that make lasting transformation possible.

In 2021, we launched Weightrhythmcoach as an editorial platform—a space where real people could read honest, research-informed articles about weight, lifestyle, and wellbeing. No sales pitches. No impossible promises. Just clarity.

Our story

Our Mission & Values

We believe in education over prescription, honesty over hype, and sustainable rhythm over rapid results.

Evidence-Based

🌿 Did you know?

Every article is grounded in peer-reviewed research and real-world experience. We cite our sources and explain the science in accessible language.

Human-Centred

We write for real people with real lives. Your work schedule, family commitments, and budget matter. We don't pretend otherwise.

Transparent

No hidden agendas. No sponsored content masquerading as advice. We're honest about what works, what doesn't, and what the evidence actually shows.

Meet Our Team

A diverse group of writers, coaches, and researchers united by the belief that lasting change comes from understanding.

James Mitchell

Founder & Lead Coach

James spent 15 years in corporate health & wellness before realising the industry was built on quick fixes. He earned his coaching certification from the International Coach Federation and studied nutrition science at the University of Westminster. His approach combines behavioural psychology with practical, rhythm-based lifestyle coaching that acknowledges the complexity of real life.

Sarah Chen

Health & Nutrition Writer

Sarah holds a PhD in Nutritional Science from King's College London and has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles on metabolism and lifestyle change. She brings scientific rigour to every piece, making complex research accessible without oversimplifying. Her writing bridges the gap between laboratory evidence and everyday decision-making for our readers.

Marcus Thompson

Lifestyle & Behaviour Coach

Marcus works directly with readers navigating the daily challenges of lifestyle change. He's trained in cognitive behavioural coaching and has worked with hundreds of people through their transformation journeys. Marcus specialises in helping readers identify the rhythms and patterns that sabotage progress, then rebuild habits that stick.
